HOW LONG IS YOUR WAITING TIME FOR APPOINTMENTS?
At Holmes and Davidson Opticians, we try to keep the waiting time for your Eye Test to a minimum. Due to our popularity we currently have about a week's waiting time for an appointment.
HOW HAVE HOLMES & DAVIDSON MADE SIGHT TESTS SO EASY?
By investing in the latest technology the sight test is now so much easier, quicker and more accurate.
The sight test starts with a scan which tells us your exact objective prescription without having to ask any questions. This is interpreted by your Optometrist, Karl, to give you the most comfortable and clearest vision at all distances. At the touch of a button, Karl will demonstrate what difference a change in prescription will make.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU UPDATE YOUR FRAMES IN STORE?
At Holmes & Davidson, we are always updating what frames we offer and receiving new designs weekly. From the classic designs to the modern and trendy, we have a wide variety of frames for you to choose.
On the rare occasion you don't see the perfect frame for you, don't worry our Dispensing Optician's will help find you exactly what you want. If we don't have anything in store, we will always contact our suppliers and work with you to find the perfect frame!
DO YOU USE THE UNCOMFORTABLE GLASSES WHEN TESTING EYES?
Holmes and Davidson Opticians use the very latest Nidek sight testing technology. Gone are the days when you need to wear an uncomfortable trial frame for the duration of the sight test. Now you will place your forehead against a comfortable rest and the lenses are controlled by our Optometrist Karl.
ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Our shop is wheel chair accessible, we have a slope up into the testing room from the reception area. Depending on the size/style of the wheelchair, some of our upgraded sight tests are unavailable but we will always ensure you have a thorough and accurate sight test!
