A Festive Funny Moment
Speaking of memories, we’d love to share a lighthearted story from our practice to spread some cheer.
Last December, one of our regular customers, lets call him 'Nick', came in for a routine eye test.
After chatting about his holiday plans, he mentioned he was dressing up as Santa for his grandchildren. Of course, Santa needed his spectacles, so 'Nick' asked us to help find “the most Santa-like frames imaginable.”
We had a good laugh as our team rummaged through our collection to find just the right pair – a round, gold-rimmed set that would make even the real Santa jealous.
The best part?
On Christmas morning, one of his grandkids asked, “Grandpa, why does Santa have glasses just like yours?”
Let’s just say 'Nick' blamed it on Santa using the same optician!
Holiday Closure Dates
To give our amazing team a chance to recharge and enjoy time with their families, Holmes & Davidson Opticians will be closed over the holidays.
Closing Date: Saturday 21st December, 4pm.
Reopening Date: Thursday 2nd January 2025!
