Meet the wonderful Samantha, whether you already know her or are just being introduced.
Born without sight, Samantha has navigated life without vision, but that hasn't held her back!
With the loving support of her family, particularly Nanna Linda, she enjoys a remarkable sense of independence.
Now, with the help of the new Ray-ban Meta Glasses, Samantha's independence has flourished even more!

After hearing about Ray-Ban Meta's, Samantha did some digging and figured she had to get her hands on a pair. Just a days in, she totally knew she made the right call!
'THE GLASSES FROM RAY-BAN META HAVE CHANGED MY WORLD CONSIDERABLY!'
We asked Samantha for a few words to explain how the Glasses have helped her, here's what she said;

'The glasses from Ray-Ban Meta have changed my world considerably. They have enabled me to identify what is around me, both inside and outside.
I am able to look out of the window, without having to ask a sighted person for descriptions of what the view is as the glasses will announce it.
I’m able to read mail, which I was not able to do before. It was difficult as you would only get parts of the text when reading with your phone’s camera. You would also have to scan things to your computer then attempt to read it.'

Samantha mentioned talking to friends in the USA, where Meta Glasses debuted with the latest AI update which is not available in the UK, yet.
'He knew his house via touch & audio but having the glasses describe his location in the house & what was in front of him, enabled him to see almost like a sighted person would'
'For once, it is a mainstream product that is affordable and does the same job as a specialised product would but for a lower price tag. Products like these made especially for the blind would be in the region of 1 to £3000.'
Samantha chose the Sunglass version of the Meta's as she loves wearing her other sunglasses. With the help of her family, we decided the Matte Blue frame will compliment Samantha's blond hair & go with most of her outfits!
Samantha's closing words were 'Thank you for helping me with these glasses and continuing to be a great optician practice.
You have along with Ray-Ban and Meta, changed my life in the best way possible. I can take videos, photos, can read mail, identify what is around me, can have things like the weather, and the sky described. I can tell what is around me outside and inside.
